✅ Certification requirements
Validation of the three blocks of skills or 3 years of experience in application development/design.
Level B1 in technical English for reading and comprehension.
Educational goals
- Analyze the functional and technical needs of a business application.
- Design a multi-layered and secure software architecture (presentation, business, persistence).
- Develop the front-end and back-end components of a web application.
- Implement secure REST APIs that are interconnected to a relational or NoSQL database.
- Conduct unit, functional, integration and user recipe (UAT) tests.
- Automate deployments via CI/CD pipelines in a DevOps logic.
- Write technical documentation and prepare for production.
- Collaborate in Agile project mode (user stories, backlog, sprints, stand-ups).
- Communicate effectively in writing and speaking in French and technical English.
- This training prepares for the RNCP 37873 “Application Developer” certification, structured around three skill blocks: Develop a secure application & Design and develop a secure application organized in layers & Prepare the deployment of a secure application.
Targeted skills
CCP 1 — Develop a secure application (Install and configure your work environment according to the project, develop user interfaces, develop business components, contribute to the management of an IT project)
CCP 2 — Design and develop a secure application organized in layers (Analyze the needs and model an application, define the software architecture of an application, design and set up a relational database, develop components for accessing SQL and NoSQL data)
CCP 3 — Preparing for the deployment of a secure application (Prepare and execute application test plans, prepare and document the deployment of an application, contribute to production in a DevOps approach)
We welcome all enthusiasts, ready to commit and learn, for a rewarding adventure in the web world:
- Employees in retraining who want to specialize in application development
- Job seekers with a computer background or strong technical potential
- Freelances/auto-entrepreneurs wishing to validate a recognized competence
- Anyone who is self-taught in web development who wishes to formalize their skills with a diploma.
Entering the training course may be preceded by a technical test or a positioning interview, in order to confirm the adequacy between the candidate’s level and the expectations of the course.

Professional skills are evaluated throughout the training through reconstructed tests, professional situations, defenses and technical deliverables. These modalities are designed to validate the skills of the three certification blocks for the Professional Certification Application Developer.
The evaluations are organized around the following elements:
- Practical work and mini-projects: carried out individually or in pairs, these exercises validate the acquisition of technical skills in front-end, back-end, database, API and DevOps, in a progressive framework.
- Common thread project: it constitutes a reconstituted professional situation. The intern designs, develops, secures and documents a complete application organized in layers, in accordance with the expectations of the RNCP skill blocks
- Intermediate defenses: they allow you to assess progress, the ability to present your work, to justify your technical choices, and to adapt to the trainer’s feedback.
- Final defense: it takes the form of a simulated professional interview with project demonstration, written and oral feedback, justification of technical decisions, and answers to RNCP competency-oriented questions.
- Thematic presentations: they assess the ability to document technological intelligence or to explore a specific technical subject (e.g. application security, CI/CD, cloud). These presentations mobilize transversal skills in communication, argumentation structuring and oral feedback
- Self-assessment and cross-evaluation: throughout the course, learners engage in a dynamic of structured feedback (peer review), in order to strengthen their critical thinking, their ability to analyze, and their professional posture.
Transversal skills — professional communication, problem solving, autonomy, documentation, collaboration — are mobilized and evaluated continuously through all of the above modalities. They participate directly in the implementation of the expected skills.
All evaluations are aligned with the requirements of the certification framework, and documented in the criteria grids used during defenses and projects.
