Worshop & Serious Game
The objective of the Serious Game is to learn and master the use of WordPress, a popular content management system (CMS), while offering an immersive and fun experience. Participants will be plunged into a virtual world where they will have to create and manage their own website using WordPress. Emphasis will be placed on developing practical skills, designing engaging websites, and problem solving.
Website creation: Participants will start by choosing a goal for their website, whether it's a business, a blog, a portfolio, etc. They will then need to select a basic theme and customize the layout, colors, fonts, and styles to match their purpose.
Adding content: Participants will need to create pages, articles, and menus to organize content on their website. They'll need to add text, images, videos, and other relevant media to present their content in an engaging way.
Feature Management: Participants will need to explore WordPress features such as plugins, widgets, and extensions. They will need to choose and install the appropriate plugins to add specific features to their website, such as contact forms, image galleries, social media sharing features, etc.
Website Optimization: Participants will need to optimize their website to improve its performance and usability. This may include image optimization, caching, search engine optimization (SEO), securing the website, and setting up regular backups.
